Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Pgora is a digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product that provides PG and hostel management tools through subscription plans. This policy governs refunds and cancellations for all subscription purchases made through our payment partner, Razorpay.
By subscribing to Pgora, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Free Trial
- Pgora offers a 14-day free trial for new users to evaluate the platform.
- No payment information is required to start your free trial.
- You will not be charged if you choose not to subscribe after the trial period ends.
- At the end of the trial, you may choose a subscription plan to continue using the platform.
- Free trial access is limited to one trial per user/organization.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard settings or by contacting us at pgora2026@gmail.com.
3.2 Effect of Cancellation
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- You will continue to have full access to all features until your paid period expires.
- After the paid period ends, your account will be downgraded and access to premium features will be restricted.
- Your data will remain accessible for export for 30 days after subscription expiry.
3.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing cycle. We will send a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before the renewal date.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Eligible Refunds
- Refund requests made within 7 days of the first paid subscription may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds for technical issues such as duplicate charges, incorrect billing amounts, or payment processing errors will be processed promptly.
- If Pgora experiences prolonged service outages (exceeding 72 consecutive hours) due to issues within our control, pro-rated credits or refunds may be issued.
4.2 Non-Eligible Refunds
- No refunds will be issued after 7 days of a paid billing cycle.
- No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle.
- No refunds for auto-renewal charges where the user did not cancel before the renewal date.
- No refunds if the account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
- Downgrading a plan mid-cycle does not entitle you to a refund for the difference.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at pgora2026@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your registered email address
- Subscription/Transaction ID (available in your billing history)
- Reason for the refund request
- Date of payment
We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method via Razorpay.
- Refund processing takes 5-7 business days from the date of approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Razorpay may apply their own processing timelines which are outside Pgora's control.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
7. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, you will be charged the pro-rated difference for the remaining billing period. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
- Downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain access to higher-tier features until the current cycle ends.
8. Changes to This Policy
Pgora reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on this page. The revised policy applies to all future transactions from the date of update.
